A note on Swim Ireland Officials Logbooks 2012-2015 On the 11th February the Swim Ireland officials committee agreed to revise a change with regards to officials collecting CPD experience and gaining experience and time on the pool bank and evidencing this within the Swim Ireland officials logbook. Bangor 50m Pool Nears Completion

The Bangor Aurora Aquatics and Leisure Centre is in the final stages of construction and will be open to the public at the end of March 2013. Swim Ireland appoint New Coach at Limerick High Performance Centre

Swim Ireland, in conjunction with the University of Limerick, have appointed Lars Humer as the new Head Coach at the High Performance Centre at the University Arena. Humer will take up his new position on Monday next 14th January 2013. Originally from New Zealand, where he competed as a swimmer before becoming a coach, Humer has been a High Performance coach with British Swimming for the past 13 years.
