Final Day Excitement as Young Swimmers Excel

Press Release 29 June 2014 Day 4 of the Irish Age Group Division 2s gave spectators just as much excitement as the previous 3 days, with lots of fast swimming and tight finishes. Our first gold medal of the day went to Ellie Falls of City of Belfast in the Girls 10&Under Age Group for the 400m Freestyle. After 4th July 2014 applications submitted on any of the old forms will not be accepted by Swim Ireland as they will not be processed by the Garda Central Vetting Unit. Any old application form received will be returned to the applicant for resubmission on the new form. Please destroy all old forms you have, including soft copies. Irish Swimmers Compete in Manchester & Portugal

Good Luck to the Irish Team of swimmers who will compete at the British International Championships starting today (Tuesday) at the Manchester Aquatics Centre. Gemma Kane, James Brown, Emma Reid, Brendan Hyland, Dan Sweeney, Andrew Meegan and Bethany Carson will be swimming from today to Saturday with updates available daily on our Twitter @swimireland. Swim Ireland launch Swim Clinics with Olympian Melanie Nocher
