Gerald Wilkes and Rachel Lee Win Liffey Swim

Congratulations to Gerald Wilkes of North Dublin and to Rachel Lee (pictured) of Guinness SC and Dublin Fire Brigade for winning the 95th Dublin City Liffey Swim. Over 400 competitors completed the annual swim along Dublin’s River Liffey from Watling Street Bridge to Custom House Quay taking in the James Joyce Bridge, Ha’penny Bridge and new Rosie Hackett Bridge along the way. Scotland, Denmark Win 4 Nations Titles in Dublin

Scotland Women and Denmark’s Men were crowned 4 Nations Championships yesterday (Sunday) following an exciting weekend of Water Polo at the National Aquatic Centre in Dublin. It came down to the final game in the women’s competition with both Scotland and Ireland beating Wales and Denmark in earlier games leaving them to battle for 1st place.
