Irish Juniors Ready to Take on Europe

An 8 strong Irish swimming team will begin competition from tomorrow (Wednesday), at the LEN European Junior Swimming Championships.  The team, led by Andy Reid as head coach and assisted by Davy Johnston (Ards ASC), will compete from the 28th June to the 2nd July at the Wingate Institute in Netanya, Israel. Irish Swimmers Competing at Mare Nostrum & Sette Colli

Best of luck to our team of 14 Irish athletes who departed for Canet-en-Roussillon today and are set to compete at the third leg of the Mare Nostrum tour tomorrow (Saturday) and Sunday. Melanie Nocher appointed to OCI Athlete Commission

Following a nomination procedure the Olympic Council of Ireland (OCI) has today announced the composition of a new Athlete Commission for the period 2017-20. The role of the Commission is to advise the OCI Executive Committee on all athlete related matters and to ensure that the voice of Irish athletes is heard in all future OCI decision making. Ffrench Set to Compete at European Diving Championships

Jack Ffrench will be Ireland’s sole competitor at the European Diving Championships taking place in Kiev, Ukraine this week.
