FOUR IRISH SWIMMERS SET TO COMPETE AT PARA SWIMMING WORLD SERIES IN SHEFFIELD

A team of four Irish swimmers flew out this morning to compete at the third meet of the new Para Swimming World Series in Sheffield, taking place over the coming days (April 27th – 30th). The team features Rio Paralympic bronze medallist Ellen Keane, as well as fellow Paralympian fourteen year old Nicole Turner. Jordan Sloan and Mona McSharry highlighted another night of fast swimming as the Irish Open Swimming Championships continued at the National Aquatic Centre in Dublin. Sloan, who broke the 200m Freestyle Irish Record yesterday, broke the 100m Record today to take his second individual title of the weekend.
