Barry Murphy Wins Bronze at FINA World Cup in Eindhoven

7th August 2013 Irish swimmer Barry Murphy has won a Bronze Medal at the FINA Swimming World Cup in Eindhoven. 27 year old Murphy, who has just returned from the FINA Swimming World Championships in Barcelona, was the third fastest qualifier from this morning heats in a new Irish Record time of 26.54. Doyle 14th in Breaststroke Semi-Final as World Championships come to a Close

3rd August 2013 Fiona Doyle has finished 14th overall in the 50m Breaststroke semi-final at the World Swimming Championships in Barcelona. The 21 year old was unable to better her Irish Record of 30.93 set earlier today, finishing 7th in her heat in 31.52 seconds. Meegan, Hyland & Coulter Smash Irish Records at US Open

31st July 2013 Ireland’s swimmers got off to great start at the US Open in Irvine, California yesterday with three new National  records from the 12 strong team. Brendan Hyland was first up in the 200m Butterfly, his main event. Ireland represented at US Open

Twelve Irish swimmers will represent Ireland at the US Open in Irvine, California, starting today. The 12 strong team includes Irish record holders Shauna O’Brien, Bethany Carson, Curtis Coulter, Michael Dawson, Brendan Hyland and World University Games finalist Andrew Meegan. Doyle 11th in World Championship Semi-Final

29th July 2013 Fiona Doyle has finished 11th overall  in the 100m Breaststroke at the FINA Swimming World Championships in Barcelona, Spain. Irish Swimmers Gear Up for World Championships in Barcelona

26th July 2013 Three of Ireland’s top swimmers are gearing up for the FINA World Swimming Championships  in Barcelona starting this Sunday (28th July). Bryan 16th at World Championships in Barcelona

22nd July 2013 Ireland’s Chris Bryan has finished 16th at the FINA Open Water  10K World Championships in Barcelona. Bryan made a good start quickly settling into the leading pack of 25 of the  65 swimmers, finishing the first lap of the 2.5 Kilometre course in 15th place just 8 seconds behind the leader. 20th July 2013 Ireland’s Chris Bryan will swim at the FINA World Open Water Championships this Monday 22nd July at the Moll De La Fusta in Barcelona. Bryan 7th in 10K Swim at World University Games

Open Water swimmer Chris Bryan has finished 7th at the World University Games 10K swim in Kazan, Russia. The Ennis man swam the 10 Kilometre course at Lake Middle Kaban in 1 hour, 57 minutes and two seconds.
