Irish Swimmers Compete in Manchester & Portugal

Good Luck to the Irish Team of swimmers who will compete at the British International Championships starting today (Tuesday) at the Manchester Aquatics Centre.

Gemma Kane, James Brown, Emma Reid, Brendan Hyland, Dan Sweeney, Andrew Meegan and Bethany Carson will be swimming from today to Saturday with updates available daily on our Twitter @swimireland.

Kane, Brown and Reid are all preparing for European Junior Championships in 2 weeks time with Kane also set to represent Northern Ireland at the Commonwealth Games, while Brendan Hyland and Dan Sweeney continue to prepare for European Swimming Championships in Berlin in August.

Also looking forward to European Championships is Open Water swimmer Chris Bryan. Chris will this weekend be swimming at the FINA 10K Marathon Swimming World Cup in Setubal, Portugal. In 2013 Bryan won the Portuguese Open 10K in the same location.
