NEW Special Membership now available!

Swim Ireland (SI) is pleased to announce that is has recently launched its NEW special membership category. Until now, to compete in any event held by or under the auspices of Swim Ireland you were required to be a SI club member. The new special membership category will allow individuals the opportunity to become a SI member and compete in selected SI events previously only open to club members. As this is a first year pilot there will be a select number of races/galas designated open to special members and will include a variety of open sea events and we are pleased to announce that Dublin SC has come on board to allow special members the opportunity to take part in their upcoming Masters gala. We are pleased with the list of events available so far and we would hope that more clubs will accept the special membership category for their swims over the coming weeks.

For more information please see below.

As this is the first year and an initial pilot there will be a select number of races. For 2015 Swim Ireland will be working to develop a more extensive list of events for Special Members to attend.

Special membership does not automatically entitle members the right to swim in each event; entrance must be completed through the race organiser.
