National Centre Dublin Skills Clinics

Looking to improve your Breaststroke Technique? Then join us at the National Centre Dublin where renowned Breaststrokers Eoin Corby and Niamh Coyne will take you through a breakdown of the stroke and will run through various Skills/Drills/Technique/Starts and Turns to help you develop and perfect your stroke.

Each clinic is priced at €60 per person and places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment

 

Clinic 1 – Eoin Corby – Monday 15th April, 17:00-19:00

2024 World Championships team member and Irish Junior Record holder Eoin Corby will lead athletes through a session focusing on Breaststroke Kick and Technique

Clinic 2 – Niamh Coyne – Friday 19th April, 17:00-19:00

Irish Senior Record holder Niamh Coyne will lead athletes through a session focusing on Breaststroke Skills, Starts + Turns

 

Join Victoria Catterson for a Freestyle Skills Clinic – Including Starts, breakouts, stroke technique and turns on Monday 6th May 17:00-19:00.

Victoria has recently competed at World Championships in Doha, Qatar, where she played a pivotal role in helping to secure the Women’s 4×100 Medley Relay spot for Paris 2024. Victoria is a Freestyle specialist who dominates the 100, 200 and 400 Freestyle, and she will take you through all aspects of a Freestyle Stroke. All swimmers in attendance at this clinic will receive FREE Amanzi gear from Victoria herself. Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity.

National Centre Dublin Coaches Andrew Addison and Steve Beckerleg will be running clinics aimed at Open Water Swimmers, Masters Swimmers and Triathletes (all athletes looking to attend must be at least 18 years of age). The objective of the sessions will be to improve your technique to make swimming more enjoyable and fun. Clinics are priced at €75 per person and will be capped at 30 people per session so get your booking in quick!

 

Clinic 1 – Andrew Addison – POSTPONED – New date to be announced

Andrew Addison serves as the Assistant Head Coach at the National Centre in Dublin.  Andrew is also the Head Coach for the LA Olympic Games focussed group – Project 28.  Since 2011 Andrew has worked with masters’ swimmers and triathletes, with several of them making it all the way to the Ironman World Championships in Kona and Nice.

Andrew had 3 athletes qualify for junior international competition in 2023 with two of those going on to qualifying for the Senior European Short Course Championships. Since Andrew’s joining the Centre, its most recent success has been to qualify 6 athletes to the team for the World Championships in Doha.’

Clinic 2 – Steven Beckerleg – Monday 27th May, 17:30-19:00 – PLEASE NOTE NEW TIME

Steven Beckerleg serves as the Head Coach at the National Centre in Dublin. Steven was previously the Assistant Head Coach before being promoted in 2022.

Since becoming the Head Coach, the centre has gone from strength to strength. The centre’s most recent success coming in the form of qualifying 6 athletes to the most recent World Championships in Doha.
