Irish swimmers will take to the pool in Bangor this weekend (Friday to Sunday) for the first National competition of 2018.  The McCullagh International Meet, takes place at the Aurora Leisure Complex in County Down. Over 300 swimmers from 55 clubs will compete in 32 individual and 6 team events across three days of competition.

For the first time the event will incorporate an Age Group competition which will be run on Saturday and Sunday.

A number of Northern Ireland’s Commonwealth Games squad will be in action as the fine tune their preparations for the Gold Coast in April while swimmers also continue their preparations for the Irish Open taking place the same week.
