Swimmers Enter Final Week of Swim for a Mile Training

Over 1,000 people have now entered their final week in the Swim for a Mile Challenge training! After 12 weeks of training in pools across the country, participants are ready to swim the mile, with this week’s sessions set at 1,600m.

Feedback from the coaches in our flagship centres is that swimmers are ready to go with everyone looking forward to taking on the challenge in Cork, Limerick, Galway, Bangor and Dublin.

If you are in the area, come along and support and encourage the swimmers! Matt Cooper from Today FM’s The Last Word will also be broadcasting live from each centre during the week.
