Announcing Swim Ireland’s new Learn to Swim Programme!

The new year will see the launch of a completely revised, renewed and revamped Learn to Swim Programme. This new programme will offer pools and clubs across the island of Ireland the opportunity to become accredited Swim Ireland Swim Schools. As the only recognised awarding body for aquatic coaching and teaching qualifications by the Irish government, Sport Ireland and Sport NI, this programme represents a huge step forward for swimming education on this island and ever closer support and cooperation between the national governing body, clubs and facilities.

In order to highlight this new programme we are seeking eight flagship centres, two per province, one facility and one swimming club, to launch this programme with us and to be on of the first sites hosting the new programme in their province. The competition is open to any swimming club and facility. The chosen sites will get to be part of an exclusive group of pools/clubs to debut the Swim Ireland Swim School programme before any other pool and also receive a great package of discounts and goodies:

The new programme for absolutely free for the first year plus a 25% discount on the subsequent two years of the programme!
A visit from Swim Ireland with publicity, naming you as the winning site for your province.
One days training for all your staff in the new programme.
If you decide to sign up for an awards package you have the option to include facility/club branding
Swim Ireland branded products.

Complete the registration form and return it to the address below.
In a maximum of 600 words explain why your Swim School should become Swim Ireland’s Learn to Swim Launch site.
Provide a maximum of 5 photographs that show the spirit and ethos behind your Club/Facility programme and why it should represent Swim Ireland’s Learn to Swim programme.
Agree to deliver Swim Ireland’s Learn to Swim programme for 3 years.
