Four records fall on day 1 of Irish SC Championships

The 2016 Irish SC Championships kicked off with two Irish records during the first heats session. Brendan Hyland from Tallaght (and the NAC Performance Centre) lowered Barry Murphy’s 2011 100m Butterfly record to a 53.04 and Bangor’s Jack McMillan swimming a time of 3.52.86 to break the Junior Boys 400m Freestyle record. Irish Junior Records fall at curtain call of Irish Short Course Nationals

After a thrilling first two days to the Championship the final day of competition at Lagan Valley Leisureplex had a lot to live up but certainly didn’t disappoint.
