On the 8th October, Swim Ireland will present our tenth Annual Awards. The 2022 Awards will celebrate and honour the fantastic work and the outstanding accomplishments of our athletes, coaches and volunteers throughout the year. At the event, we will also induct a deserving member of the aquatic community into the Swim Ireland Hall of Fame.
All members of the aquatic community will be invited to purchase tickets at a cost of €50 by booking with Swim Ireland. The day will include a reception, lunch and awards.
We would like to encourage all clubs to vote for those most deserving of these awards whether it is someone in your own club or outside of your club and we look forward to seeing you all there on the night to help us celebrate the successes of the past year.
ELIGIBILITY
- All nominees must have been members of Swim Ireland during the 2021/22 Season (October 2021– August 2022)
- The nomination must be based on accomplishments between 01/09/21 and 31/08/2022. Accomplishments outside of this timeframe will be disregarded.
- Nominations for Awards must be submitted by a member of an affiliated Swim Ireland Club/Member. Clubs may nominate other clubs and other Swim Ireland members outside of their club. Clubs may also nominate their own club and club members.
- Clubs may only submit one nomination in each category.
Submission Requirements
- A fully completed nomination form (typed). Nominations should be at least 200 words.
- Written outline of your nominees’ accomplishments. Please give a details reason as to why your nominee deserves the award.
- A digital photograph of the nominee.
