Swim Ireland Education and Clubs & Community teams held a series of education planning workshops over the last three weeks. 69 clubs were represented by 80 attendees across the 5 workshops, with the majority of junior swimming and water polo clubs represented.
The purpose of the meetings were two-fold:
- To re-introduce the Education and Clubs & Community teams
- And to outline our plans for the development of an education calendar, with the intention of enabling clubs to better plan for education courses, improve budgeting and identify areas for development more effectively.
The meetings were very productive, with plenty of constructive feedback and suggestions from club representatives.
