Taking into consideration all information with regards to Covid-19, recommendations and discussions with various stakeholders over the past few days we have taken the difficult decision to postpone the Irish Open Swimming Championships – Olympic and Paralympic Trials scheduled for April 1st – 5th at the National Aquatic Centre, Dublin.

We have been looking at a number of options and the current plan is to reschedule this event to the end of June (taking into consideration dates of Irish National Division 2’s and Irish Summer Nationals, training camps etc…). We are working with all stakeholders to find the best solution and will update everyone accordingly.

We understand this news will be disappointing, however, the health and welfare of our membership is at the forefront and we believe this is the right decision to make. We are fully committed to helping our athletes secure qualification for Olympic and Paralympic Games and European Junior Championships.

Tickets purchased for the event will be valid for the rescheduled dates.

Further information will be issued as we have it and with government advice in mind.

Please keep an eye on our website and social media for further updates.

In the meantime. please continue to follow advice made available through government websites available HERE
