Titans Swimming Club are seeking a new Coach to work with their Para Squads

This is a tremendous opportunity to work with and learn from an experienced coaching team and

passionate group of para swimmers.

The Club consists of 85 members participating in five squads, with 3 para squads with a total of 15 swimmers.

The role:

● Coaching across our Titans Para Squads sessions (5 hours+)

● Deliver Programme for a specific squad

● Liaise with Head Coach on goals and direction of squad

● Ensure competition entries are submitted on time

● Attend competitions where necessary

● Cover additional hours across squads if required

● Keep attendance up to date

● Great potential for professional development through mentorship by the Head Coach.


Required Qualifications & Skills:

● A successful proven track record coaching young swimmers

● Level 2 Coaching/Teaching qualification

● Qualifications teaching children with physical disability would be an advantage

● Experience with children with additional needs / special needs.

● Current Swim Ireland Garda Vetting, Safeguarding Level 1 and Swim Ireland Coaching license

● Ability to demonstrate a passion for your sport, coupled with a desire to learn and continuously

improve your skillset

● Leadership and Communications skills – ability to inspire, educate and motivate swimmers to

train and fulfil their potential
