The Limerick Masters LC gala was held on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th April, having been pushed back six weeks due to bad weather in early March. Over 50 clubs with almost 300 competitors competed with 16 Individual National records broken.
The competition was a great success due in no small part to the volunteers from Limerick Masters and Limerick SC who acted as officials and provided lunch for all on the day.
The competition was followed by the club gala night with trophies presented for a variety of events. Swim Ireland Masters liaison Aisling McKeever also presented the Decathlon Awards to Charlotte Reid, Aer Lingus and Kieran Kelleher, Cork Masters.
