During the February Mid-Term, the Swim Ireland Performance coaches in the National Centre (Dublin) will deliver a series of technical stroke and skill clinics at the National Aquatic Centre in Abbotstown. The clinics will be appropriate for any swimmers who competed at either the Irish Summer National Championships or the Irish Division 2 Competition in 2018 (or who has qualified to swim in the 2019 editions of these meets)
The schedule for the clinics is as follows:
- Monday 18th February – Butterfly
- Tuesday 19th February – Backstroke
- Thursday 21st February – Breaststroke
- Friday 22nd February – Freestyle
Each of the clinics will follow this format:
- 17:15-17:30 Pre-Pool Preparation Work
- 17:30-19:00 Pool Technique Session
- 19:00-19:15 Post-Pool Work Tips & Guidance
Each clinic is €35.00 per person and bookings will be taken on a first-come-first served basis. But don’t delay in booking – it’s not often that our Performance Coaches are available outside of their important work with our National Team and our National Centre!

Please note that these clinics are predominantly aimed at swimmers aged 11-16
