Performance Analysis Available at Irish Summer Nationals

We are excited to announce that a Performance Analysis (PA) service will be available to coaches at this year’s Irish Summer National Championships which kicks off on Wednesday at the NAC in Dublin. The service, which will operate at no cost to clubs, will run as follows:

Heats (Racing from 0845 – 1100)

• 1 x wider aspect panning camera to be used at mid-pool mark from top of media section to capture all races and lanes during heats
• Following the completion of each event we will a provide video kiosk service located next to the PA filming area for coaches only
• Designated members of the Swim Ireland Performance team (see below) will be available on a rotational basis to provide coaching support to coaches while accessing the video kiosk service
• Following the completion of the session, named video files will be uploaded to Dartfish.tv which will be shared by a web link to coaches for further viewing

Finals (Racing from 1700 – 1900)

As above, plus:

• Additional lane focus camera to be used from similar position to capture some swims (as selected by the Performance team) for more detailed analysis
• Partial analysis will be completed to garner data on basic racing skills for comparison with European Standards at Junior and Senior level
