Club Affiliation Workshop - September 9 or 16
This interactive webinar will provide guidance to club volunteers on the club affiliation process.
Education
CLUBS AND COMPETITION QUALIFICATIONS
This course is for volunteers who wish to act as Team Manager for their club at competitions, club outings and away trips (both home and abroad). It's an essential requirement, so good to have a few members of each club qualified.
Level 1 Swimming Official Courses - TImekeeper
This qualifies you to fulfil the role of Timekeeper at all levels up to and including National Championships.
WATER SAFETY COURSES
RLSS Rookie Lifeguard Instructor - Complete in your own time.
It is quick and easy to qualify to deliver the Rookie Lifeguard Programme.

Youth Development
Safeguarding Audit Workshops
With a view to supporting Clubs to fulfil their requirements, the Head of Safeguarding Kate Hills, will be working with Club Children’s Officers and committee members going through the Club’s Safeguarding Risk Assessment (RA) & Child Safeguarding Statement (CSS) documents as well as the Safeguarding Club Audit.
In each of the workshops the Club Audit will be covered in the first hour, and the RA & CSS will be covered in the second hour.
Members should book their place as soon as possible as numbers will be limited to allow for questions and queries that will only help clubs meet this need.

In preparation for our Clubs getting up to date for affiliation, specific courses for Club Children’s Officers will be available.
Club Children’s Officers need to hold both a valid Safeguarding Level 2/Designated Children’s Officer certificate AND Safeguarding Level 3 certificate.
Members must have completed a Safeguarding Level 1/Safeguarding Children & Young People certificate to be eligible to attend either course.
Strict limit on numbers apply for these courses, so please make sure you book early!
