Swim Ireland’s Irish Short Course Swimming Championships kick off tomorrow at the Sport Ireland National Aquatic centre, Dublin with swimmers competing for national titles across 42 individual and relay events.

Competition will take place from Thursday 12th to Sunday 15th December with huge numbers this year including 69 teams and over 500 swimmers in action in the first National Championships of the 2019/20 swimming season.

Just last week at the European Short Course Swimming Championships in Glasgow, 20 Irish Records were broken by the team of 19, will we see more records fall this week?

Last week’s European Medallists Mona McSharry and Shane Ryan will both be in action, as with the rest of the 19 strong team that competed in Glasgow.

Throughout the week there will be a number of Exhibition Swims at the end of the evening sessions, with Ireland relays coming together in the hope of breaking some long-standing records.

Results available through Meet Mobile (2019 Irish SC Championships).
