Teacher/Coach Licensing and CPD Points Extended

Swim Ireland are pleased to announce that all Teacher and Coach Licensing and CPD points which are due to expire between 1^st January 2021 – 1^st July 2021 will be extended for six months.

In light of our prolonged absence from the water, and in line with feedback from our members and clubs, we have made the decision to extend the expiry dates of licenses and give our teachers and coaches additional time to collect their CPD points.

Adam Cox, Head of Clubs & Community, said: “Swim Ireland recognise the immense pressure and vast array of challenges facing our teachers and coaches at present and it was our aim to recognise this and support them in any way we can.”

The Swim Ireland team have created a diverse range of courses and engagement opportunities for members over the past 12 months and it is the intention to keep this going throughout the pandemic and beyond.
