NRASTC – National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers and Coaches

NRASTC is a supervision and rescue award for swimming teachers, coaches and/or instructors working during programmed activities, such as swimming lessons and club sessions.
It is suitable for teachers and coaches working in a wide range of swimming pools where the water is deeper than the teachers’ standing depth and meets the Individual sites risk assessment.
Course Pre Requisites
- Swim 50m
- Surface dive to the deepest part the pool
- Climb out without help and without using steps or ladders.
- Be aged 16 or older at the time of the assessment
Cost
Full course: €125.00 for members / €150.00 for non Swim Ireland-members
Virtual Classroom ONLY: €100.00 for members / €120.00 for non Swim Ireland-members
Practical ONLY: €50.00 for members / €60.00 for non Swim Ireland-members
