Win up to €100 of FREE Swimming Lessons!
Swim Ireland is launching a comic called The Weekly Splash and is looking for young writers and artists to join us in creating this Aquatic Comic!
We've started a story in the attached image and would like you to tell us what happens next, or craft your own short story with a swimming theme.
It can be all words, or include illustrations, be set at the pool, or in the sea, or anywhere watery, but it must tell an aquatic story and remember the Water Safety Code:
- STOP AND THINK: Look for the dangers. Always read the signs.
- STAY TOGETHER: Never swim alone. Always go with friends or family
We'll take the best stories and make them into a full booklet of The Weekly Splash, with one winner landing the top prize of FREE swimming lessons.
To enter: email your edition of The Weekly Splash and the name of your Learn to Swim provider to bronachmcgovern@swimireland.ie by 5pm, June 30. This competition is open to ROI & NI residents.
Swim Ireland will cover the cost of a block of swimming lessons up to the value of €100, and will liaise directly with the chosen Learn to Swim provider to make payment. Winners will be contacted after July 1.
