The Tower Bay Swim Trail saw 20 swimmers take part in a supported 1.5km swim around the magnificent Tower Bay in Portrane.
Supported by Swim Ireland's Participation Team and volunteers from Aer Lingus Masters Swimming Club, they safely enjoyed a wild, guided dip in the choppy autumnal Irish Sea!

Once their swim was over, they returned to dry land, changed into warmer clothes and took a well-deserved break for tea and cakes.
Once warm, dry and fed, the participants, and their friends and families enjoyed a guided 2km walk along the dramatic Tower Bay coastal path.
A local guide introduced them to different monuments, the fauna and flora, and the history of Portrane and its surroundings.
An insightful, wild, and great day for all participants and all the volunteers!
